The event “Greek Architecture Awards 2024” held at the Atrium of the Benaki Museum on Tuesday, July 2nd, with Aluminco as a major sponsor, was a great success.
This year, the Greek Architecture Awards – the annual institution launched by DOMa in 2010 as part of its multi-faceted effort to highlight contemporary Greek architecture – gathered 227 entries and from these 38 finalists were distinguished.
The Jury consisted of Amale Andraos (WORKac), Diego Arraigada (Diego Arraigada Arquitectos), and Nuno Brandão Costa (brandao costa arquitectos).
Mrs. Nelli Marda awarded the awards for ‘Best New Architect’s First Project’, Mr. Giorgos Tzirtzilakis for ‘Best Study’, Mrs. Agni Kouvela for ‘Best New Architecture in an Existing Building’, and Mr. Dimitris Filippidis for ‘Best Realized Project’.
