W450 is a high-specification, hinged thermal insulation system designed to meet modern requirements for energy efficiency, sound insulation, aesthetics, and security.
The series’ wide range of profiles offers a variety of functional and aesthetic solutions, including straight or curved sections, as well as the ability to construct complex typologies such as aller-retour doors, pivot windows with flat mullions, and hinged frames with a hidden sash, delivering a refined, high-end aesthetic result. The compatibility of the available profiles, combined with high-quality hardware and mechanisms, highlights the system’s versatile and ergonomic character.
The system’s uncompromising focus on maximum energy efficiency and enhanced security is achieved through the option of perimeter locking and the use of 24 mm glass-fiber–reinforced polyamides, delivering a thermal insulation coefficient of Uf = 2.2–2.6 W/m²K and a sound reduction index of up to Rw 46 dB.
A key feature of the system is the minimized visible aluminum, achieved through the W450 HS hidden sash version, which perfectly combines a clean, minimal, and elegant aesthetic with the security and functionality of a perimeter locking mechanism.
The system’s contemporary architectural design is further reflected in its minimal visible face height of 72 mm, which maximizes the field of view while allowing optimal penetration of natural light into the building’s interior. The use of 31.8 mm glass-fiber–reinforced polyamides ensures high thermal insulation performance with Uf values starting from 1.6 W/m²K, while specialized EPDM gaskets and the advanced perimeter locking mechanism provide excellent water tightness and resistance to wind load.
